Es PRIDE

Specialist Ultra Early for quality

  • SPECIALIST ULTRA EARLY

Es Pride has the same dry matter as Nancis, plus the highest D-value and good Starch Content

Es Pride has 9% more yield than Nancis, and both are the same maturity group. Nancis has earlier grain maturity, but the extra number of grains on the cob of Pride gives similar dry matter levels.

Es Pride has the highest level of digestibility due to its strong stay green characteristic and high grain content.

Plant Growth

Shorter than Nancis with wide prostrate leaves forming good dense canopy. Very strong stay green, even at harvest.

Cob characteristics

Distinctive large cobs with 16-18 grains per ring. Small grains with early rapid dry down. High grain content in the silage pit.

Quality characteristics

Highest D-value and starch content in NIAB trials driving maturity and starch production.

Es Pride and Nancis have natural maturity and perform even where the number of heat units are limited. Some ultra early varieties get high dry matters from premature death due to disease infection.
