GROWEB MULCH

GroWeb Mulch is a blend of natural fibres. The purpose of mulch is to protect and nurture the seed. The fibres knit together when mixed with water, tackifier and fertiliser. Once sprayed onto the surface of the site they provide a protective and moisture retentive cover thus aiding the germination of the seed.

APPLICATION

GroWeb mixes readily with seed, fertiliser, water and optional tackifier to form a homogeneous slurry which is easily sprayed in a single application on any soil, however steep the slope.

COST

Because GroWeb is manufactured in the UK, it offers cost savings over many other leading purpose-made mulches.

RAPID GROWTH

GroWeb's mix of fibre provides excellent water absorption - up to 400% its own weight. Its strong mat holds moisture and promotes rapid seed growth for quick, quality results.

GROWEB SOIL & PLANT FERTILISER

Organic slow release fertiliser 8:7:7 and minerals, trace elements and natural growth stimulants.  GroWeb Soil and Plant Conditioner is a concentrated liquid fertiliser. It is designed as a total replacement, onestop fertiliser containing:  

• A balanced supply of the major nutrients N, P and K (8:7:7) - all readily plant available.
• The organic matter from blood and bone which includes amino acids, albumen, globulin, cholesterol and calcium.
• A carefully balanced formulation of all the essential trace elements and minerals.
• Two natural growth promotants.

GROWEB TACKIFIER

GroWeb Tackifier is a natural non-toxic powder made up of 99% natural colloids and 1% inhibitor. The purpose of GroWeb Tackifier is as a gelling agent that, when mixed with water, swells becoming highly viscous binding the seed, fertiliser and mulch to the soil surface. GroWeb Tackifier helps protect the seed from wind erosion, water erosion and drought.

PHYTOFIBRE XL 10000M

Phytofibre is a high performance mulch for hydraseeding applications. It promotes accelerated growth through a combination of seed protection and improved hydration for nourishment. Manufactured from 100% recycled paper, Phytofibre is safe to handle, environmentally sound and has unlimited shelf life. 

When mixed with seed, fertiliser, water and optional tackifier it forms a homogenous slurry which is easily sprayed in a single application creating a smooth and even cover on any soil, however steep the slope. XL 10000M takes less time to prepare than other mulches saving you time and money. 

Because XL 10000M is manufactured in the U.K. from recycled material It will offer a cost saving over many other leading purpose-made mulches.

Phytofibre holds up to 1500% its own weight of water. Its water retention capability ensures newly sprayed seed is provided with vital nourishment necessary for successful germination. 

An even grass covering is easier to achieve due to the ease of producing a uniform slurry and the even spread achievable from using XL 10000M. 

Phytofibre is non-toxic and non-irritant. Having a neutral pH balance means it will not inhibit the germination of seed. Phytofibre has been independently tested and proved to be absent of soil contaminants, including copper, nickel and zinc. Phytofibre also biodegrades naturally without the need for catalytic additives.
