In today’s highly competitive market place, it is becoming increasingly important that buyers are aware of quality and value for money.   The ProLandscape range has been produced with these important principles in mind. Cultivars are selected which will not only establish quickly and have good wear tolerance, but are also naturally low growing with high levels of disease resistance to ensure that future maintenance costs are kept to the minimum.

EQUINE PADDOCK
PONY PADDOCK, GRAZING MIX

• A good quality, hard wearing, paddock mixture that will last for many years
• The inclusion of Strong Creeping Red Fescue ensures good shoot density and minimises trampling damage in wet conditions
• The mix provides palatable grazing and can be cut for hay if required.  Cultivars lower in water soluble carbohydrate (sugar) will help to prevent the worst effects of laminitis.  A 500g herb pack to improve animal interest and well being is also available.

• This is a low maintenance mix that is naturally low growing
• The fine grasses used are very tolerant of dry, infertile conditions which reduces the need for additional applications of water and fertiliser

PRO 125 BIRDSTRIKE
AIRPORT LANDSCAPE & BIRD STRIKE MIX

• Authorities responsible for the safety of aircraft have been concerned with the danger of damage caused by aircraft striking birds while in flight.  Methods of reducing this have been sought, which has brought about the introduction of “Long Grass Management”
• Tall Fescue, Cocksfoot and Timothy, in that order were found to be the most suitable for a long grass policy
• Tall Fescue is the most promising species due to its erect stiff habit of growth
• It is a highly persistent, frost and drought resistant species and when managed at an optimum mown height of 150mm, the most suited to long grass management
