Dwarf type = low growth
BRAVEHEART belongs to the slowest growing tall fescues of the new generation allowing significantly lower amounts of clippings. Growth rate measured as height in mm after several weeks without mowing (Left chart: Source 2010 data NTEP 2006 National Tall Fescue Test - inches converted to mm).

Attractive dark green colour
With a score of 6.9 for genetic colour compared to 6.4 for Rembrandt, BRAVEHEART belongs to the darkest available varieties (Source NTEP 2010 data - scale 1-9, 9=darkest).
