CRIMSON CLOVER
Trifolium incarnatum

This is an annual clover that establishes quickly to aid weed suppression and has a wonderful network of tap and branch roots.
It has a crimson flower that attracts many insects and the ability to trap and add Nitrogen to the soil for following crops.
The species does have over wintering capabilities and the biomass produced degrades rapidly back into the soil profile.
